The fourth quarter of 2021 saw intriguing trends for the top five miner games on the Android platform in Oceania. Here’s a closer look at their performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Stone Miner by ZPLAY Games experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 12K in late September and dropping to approximately 2K by the end of December. Weekly revenue also decreased from around $1.1K initially to $92 in the last week of the quarter. Active users followed a similar downward trend, beginning at nearly 26K and ending at around 9K.

Gold & Goblins: Idle Merger from AppQuantum showed a significant spike in weekly revenue, peaking at nearly $22.3K in early November before settling at around $15.5K by the end of December. Downloads surged mid-October, reaching close to 10K, before stabilizing around 2.7K in the last week of December. Active users grew from about 4.4K at the end of September to just over 10.5K by year-end.

Oilman by VOODOO had a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 14.4K in early November, before dropping to around 1.5K by the end of December. Revenue gradually rose from $19 in early October to $376 by the end of December. Active users spiked to over 20K in early November but declined to about 8.8K by the end of the year.

Idle Miner Tycoon: Gold & Cash from Kolibri Games maintained relatively stable weekly revenue, fluctuating between $4.3K and $7.5K throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads hovered around 1.3K to 2.4K. Active users remained steady, starting at around 31.6K in late September and ending at approximately 27.4K by the end of December.

Coal Mining Inc. by Lion Studios saw its weekly downloads decrease from about 2.3K in late September to around 670 by the end of December. Revenue also declined, starting at $400 and dropping to $67 in the final week of December. Active users consistently decreased as well, from around 7.9K to 3.6K.
